To Protect & Serve,
because it's our calling...

The Constable's Office is dedicated to enhancing the public's safety by collaborating with local law enforcement agencies, county courts, and community members. Our mission is to create a safer enviornment through crime prevention, uphold justice through diligent law enforcement, promote confidence from our residents, and prosecute those whom threaten public safety with violence, all at zero expense to the taxpayer.

What is a Tennessee Constable?

Tennessee Constables are elected state peace officers with the full power of arrest, as prescribed by Tennessee Code Annotated § Title 8, Chapter 10. Constables have valid authority statewide, though they normally exercise their duties in the county of which they are elected. Constables, as defined in the Tennessee State Constitution, are officers of the Tennessee Judicial System: and are charged with keeping the peace, as well as with the enforcement of the laws of the State, County, and it's Cities.
